A Baobab Has Fallen: Dr. Samson Themba Tshabangu, 12 January 1943- 14 April 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dr. Samson Tshabangu, one of the founding pillars of SAMDP.
“As the mighty baobab falls, its roots anchor the memories of the past, its branches shelter the dreams of tomorrow, and its spirit forever whispers in the winds of change”. Like a baobab tree that shelters and nourishes, Dr. Tshabangu’s wisdom, guidance, and unwavering commitment have been the cornerstone of our organisation's growth.
As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his remarkable life and legacy. Dr. Tshabangu's contributions to our mission will forever be cherished and remembered. In honour of his memory, we invite you to join us in paying tribute to Dr. Tshabangu and sharing your fond memories or reflections on his impact.
Though he may have left us physically, Dr. Tshabangu's spirit will continue to inspire and guide us in our journey ahead. Let us carry forward his vision with the same dedication and passion that he exemplified.
